(Kuala Lumpur, 5th) The Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Fuziah, pointed out that MADANI Mart operates on a cooperation model that authorizes entrepreneurs to ensure the success of the initiative without relying on government funding.
She said that the MADANI Foundation (Yayasan MADANI) owns the MADANI Mart brand and will be responsible for providing training, systems, pricing, and utilizing artificial intelligence for retail analytics.
She highlighted that operators of MADANI Mart have the flexibility to develop their own businesses, while the MADANI Foundation provides support along the supply chain.
"The MADANI Foundation has not received any funding from the government nor provided any capital to MADANI Mart; each MADANI Mart is privately owned."
Fuziah made these remarks yesterday in Johor when visiting one of the MADANI Mart outlets and speaking to the media.
She stated that MADANI Mart is a strategic measure to address the challenges of the people’s cost of living and offers opportunities for local communities and businesses to participate in commercial ventures.
