Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz wrote on social media on the 24th that he is ready to host talks between the United States and Iran.
Shehbaz stated: "Pakistan welcomes and fully supports the ongoing dialogue efforts aimed at ending the war in the Middle East, which are in line with peace and stability both within and outside the region. With the consent of the United States and Iran, Pakistan would be honored to act as host and facilitate meaningful and decisive talks to comprehensively resolve the current conflict."
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Iranian media had reported on the 23rd that Iranian President Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz had spoken by phone, with both sides stressing the urgent need to defuse tensions in the Persian Gulf and engage in diplomatic mediation.
