At the White House, Trump told the media that the U.S. and Iran are in negotiations, and that Secretary of State Rubio and Vice President Vance, together with his son-in-law Kushner and presidential envoy Whitcoff, are all participating in the discussions.
He stated that the top condition for the U.S. side is that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons, and that they have already clearly stated their agreement to permanently give up nuclear weapons.
Trump said: "We are dealing with the right people, and in my view, they are trustworthy."
