55-year-old Xiong Tianping's body swells, goes on stage with wife for New Year

55-year-old singer Xiong Tianping, known as the "Prince of Love Songs" when he debuted, rose to fame with his first album "Love's Many Troubles" in 1997 and won the Best Lyricist in the Popular Music Category at the 8th Golden Melody Award. He married Chinese singer Yang Yang (Marina) in 2005, and they often perform together. Currently, his body has changed significantly, being described as "resembling Coach Anxi."

According to a report by "Hong Kong 01", Xiong Tianping sang many hit songs, including "Matchstick Heaven," "Cold Rain," and "Night after Night". After marriage, he settled in China. Recently, he was captured on stage by the public, with thinning hair and a significantly larger figure, resembling Coach Anxi from "Slam Dunk." Some netizens also believe that everyone ages, and his current physique is due to "happy weight." 

On the 31st of last month, Xiong Tianping just held a New Year's Eve concert in Nanjing, performing with his wife in a duet of "Love Movie." The footage has gone viral on social media recently, with his high notes still bright, but the stage styling drew comments from Chinese netizens such as "village grand stage," "an overwhelming rural vibe," "youthful memories seemingly trampled and rolled over repeatedly," and "why not invite Valen Hsu," among others.
