(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) Fire and Rescue Department personnel are searching for a missing man in Kampong Sungai Bera, who is believed to have been attacked by a crocodile while fishing.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, they received a distress call at 6:05 PM on Wednesday.
Two fire trucks and nine firefighters from the Seria Fire Station, led by officer-in-charge Zulkifli, were dispatched to the scene.
A tactical command post was set up at the site. Members of the Royal Brunei Police Force were also present to assist with the operation.
After the tactical command post was established, firefighters immediately began searching along the river.
The search operation was temporarily suspended at midnight and resumed today.
