The cultivation of high-level athletes requires well-planned, structurally rigorous, and scientifically-based training, including load management and adaptability monitoring, to ensure optimal athletic performance. The High-Level Training Methods: Planning and Periodization Course aims to enhance coaches' abilities through the application of modern periodization and systematic training cycle planning, helping them make data-driven decisions, reduce injury risks, and ensure athletes reach their peak competitive condition.
This initiative aligns with Brunei Vision 2035 and the Ministry of Sports' 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, aiming to strengthen the national sports system, raise local professional standards, and nurture stable and high-quality athletes.
This two-day course is designed to improve coaches’ abilities in scientific training planning and raise the national coaching standard, fostering athletes in a gradual and sustainable manner, optimizing their athletic performance and holistic development, while ensuring training safety, positivity, and effectiveness.
Through this course, participants are expected to enhance their ability to make more scientific, data-driven training decisions, thereby reducing the risks of overtraining, excessive fatigue, and injury. This approach not only helps maximize athletes’ potential but also supports their sustained, gradual development, meeting the high-level training standards of both national and international levels.
