South Korean actor Lee Yi Kyung has recently been embroiled in controversy after allegations about his private life circulated online, sparking widespread discussion. In response, his agency “Sangyoung ENT” released a statement on the 20th, stressing that the related claims are all baseless rumors, firmly denying the accusations and announcing legal action. The company stated they will take strong measures against anyone spreading or fabricating such rumors.

The agency said that in recent days, posts containing malicious rumors and false information have spread across various online communities and social media platforms, seriously damaging the artist’s reputation. The statement declared: “The company is preparing legal action against those who spread false information and malicious rumors, and will evaluate all direct or indirect damages depending on the severity of the situation, taking comprehensive countermeasures as necessary.”

The company also cautioned that not just the original accuser, but anyone who reposts or disseminates related false content will be held legally accountable, urging the public not to break the law. The agency also thanked fans for continuing to provide tips, stating they will continue to monitor online information and will do all they can to protect the artist’s rights.

This controversy stems from a recent post titled “Exposing the True Face of Lee Yi Kyung,” in which a poster—A—published multiple screenshots of chats with contacts named “Lee Yi Kyung Actor” and “Yi Kyung Oppa,” claiming the other party was Lee Yi Kyung himself. The chat contents included borderline topics such as bra sizes, and even references to threesomes. However, according to the agency, this accuser actually sent a threatening email about five months ago with the same content, demanding money through blackmail. After the company stated it would take legal action, the individual apologized, but has now spread the rumors again online.
