Yiu Tze Ling Reveals She Has Suitors, Wants to Emulate Nancy Wu’s Low-Profile Romance

Hong Kong actress Yiu Tze Ling recently commented on her good friend Nancy Wu’s announcement of her marriage. Speaking about how Nancy and her doctor husband, Chan Kin Wah, maintained a low profile from dating to marriage, Yiu expressed her deep respect and said she wouldn’t disturb her friend’s newlywed life for the time being. “At this stage, let her fully enjoy her new identity as ‘Mrs. Chan’!” She also revealed that Myolie Wu and her husband have their 10th wedding anniversary coming up, so she suggested that both couples could celebrate together, bringing the good friends together for a gathering.

The group “Hu Shuo Ba Dao Hui”, made up of six Hong Kong actresses—Mandy Lam, Myolie Wu, Nancy Wu, Mandy Wong, Yiu Tze Ling, and Selena Lee—now has only Yiu Tze Ling and Selena Lee left as single ladies, following Nancy Wu’s recent wedding announcement. On the topic of relationships, Yiu, who claimed she has suitors, said that if she were to get married, she hopes it would be a lifelong commitment. Therefore, she wouldn’t rule out emulating Nancy Wu’s low-profile approach.

On Tuesday, Yiu Tze Ling, together with Joey Law and Hera Chan, attended the strategic cooperation memorandum signing event between Armani Group and TVB International (TVBI) in Malaysia. After the signing, the trio was interviewed by Malaysian media.

As for another friend, Selena Lee, who recently participated in China’s reality show “See You Again, Lover” Season 5 with ex-boyfriend and star fitness coach Che Chung Kin, Yiu stated firmly that she would never join a show like that. She believes romance is a matter between two people and finds it difficult to overcome the psychological barrier of discussing her relationship openly on a program. If she did ever get invited to a similar show, she’d prefer acting competitions or dating variety shows. She also joked that she wouldn’t dare date a much younger “little fresh meat”; for her, the biggest acceptable age gap is five years.
