(Russia, 15th) Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov revealed that Russian President Putin had a phone conversation with U.S. President Trump to discuss the U.S.-Iran peace agreement, the upcoming visit of the U.S. President's special envoy to Moscow, and Kyiv's attacks on Russian civilian facilities, among other topics.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Ushakov disclosed that the two leaders spoke on the phone on Sunday (June 14). They exchanged views on the draft memorandum of understanding currently being negotiated between the U.S. and Iran.

Putin welcomed the significant progress in curbing the conflict, which has the potential to trigger unrest in the entire region and beyond.

In addition, during the call, Trump stated that he is prepared to exert influence on European partners and Kyiv to ensure peace, including taking related actions during the upcoming G7 Summit.

Ushakov said that both presidents agreed that Kyiv's recent attacks on civilian infrastructure within Russia are hindering the resolution of the conflict.
