3P Returns to the Stage After 3 Years, Proving Their Strength and Popularity Amid Doubts

Malaysian popular singing and dancing boy band 3P (3Production), comprised of Caven, Danny, and Kevin, held their very first large-scale touring concert since debut on Saturday (the 31st) night at Axiata Arena. This marks their return to the stage after three years since their Genting concert, with a larger venue and a stronger lineup. With over 80% seat occupancy, 3P used their prowess and popularity to silence all doubts.

Right from the start, 3P ignited the whole arena with their signature hits "ABC," "TOP FORM," "ZOGANG," and "PA SANG ANTHEM" (the Klang Glory Song). Their stage performance, featuring both singing and dancing, instantly set the atmosphere alight. Seeing the enthusiastic support from all the fans, the trio was deeply moved, constantly thanking everyone for accompanying them over the past 7 years. From YouTubers and content creators to singers on stage, it hasn’t been an easy journey for them.

On stage, Caven said, “I’m really so moved I’m about to cry. Everyone knows how much hardship we went through to make this concert happen, and we've also heard plenty of doubts and harsh words. Some people didn’t even believe we could make it to Axiata, but tonight I see a full house!” His statement triggered screams from the audience, becoming the most passionate moment of the night.

The concert continually heated up with dazzling lights, stunning sound effects, and dynamic dances, with 3P personally stepping off the stage to interact with their fans, maxing out their fan-pampering score. Danny joked that due to a limited budget, they invited Phil Dao and Priscilla Abby to “appear” via video as special guests, and teased that the budget was spent on inviting music director Guo Wenhan to play guitar live and accompany them in love songs "ONLY," "Beautiful You," and "A Moment." When the trio performed a soulful melody, female fans in the audience responded with heart signs, filling the scene with sweetness.

To save time, they even wrapped themselves in black cloth on stage to do a public costume change. Kevin, who was teased by the members for being slow at changing, almost had his cloth pulled off, nearly exposing himself, prompting him to nervously shout, “Stop pulling!” There were moments of tension on stage as they worried about breaking the rules.

In addition, the venue was star-studded, with many influencers and celebrities coming to show support, including Wei Hong and his wife Yiyi, Pei Yong, Steady Gang’s Zhu Haoren and Tomato Lee, Dicking member Yuriko Wang, Adeline Huang, Anthony the Ant, Maq Lai, Dior Daying, Che Zhi Li and DJ Lin De Rong, among others. After entering, they were recognized by fans and asked for photos, making the venue bustle like an entertainment carnival. At the encore, the trio was called back to the stage by the crowd’s chants, bringing "PA SANG ANTHEM" and "North-South Highway" to close the 2.5 hour "3P New Era" Malaysia tour concert.
