The new drama Goddess of Justice, starring TV Queen Charmaine Sheh (Ah Sheh) and Nancy Sit, has recently launched in China. Not only is the viewership climbing steadily, but the drama has also garnered a positive reputation. Charmaine is seen as a strong contender to win her fifth Best Actress award with this series. Goddess of Justice is the final work of the late Bobby Au-yeung, and when his presence appeared in the promotional trailer, it evoked deep emotions among drama fans.

In Goddess of Justice, Bobby and Charmaine reprise their roles as “father and daughter.” Earlier, during a live-streamed interview, Charmaine revealed that she had watched some scenes of the series. When she saw her familiar “dad” again on screen, she was overwhelmed and choked up, saying: “When I watched it myself, I just couldn’t detach myself, it really felt like he was still here.” When Bobby’s figure appeared on the screen, she felt “a very strange feeling” inside—both familiar and distant at the same time. She movingly said, “Sigh, it felt so close, as if he’s still around. Actually, when I watched it myself, I just couldn’t separate myself from it.”

Recalling memorable moments with Bobby Au-yeung on set, Charmaine shared that as both of them played judges in the drama, their lines were not only lengthy but also filled with complex legal jargon. Charmaine empathetically said: “I think the pressure for him (Bobby Au-yeung) in this drama was quite great. I saw a very focused, hardworking side of him memorizing lines—something I had never seen before. The end result was a very different 'dad' than I knew.”
