Immediate Implementation of Counter Public Servant Position Rotation Public Service Director: Improving Service Efficiency

Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan, Director of the Public Service Bureau, pointed out that the government department counter staff position rotation plan, which is being implemented today, aims to strengthen the quality of public services and increase the efficiency of counter services.

He stated in a press release that this initiative can enhance the skills of counter staff, ensure a variety of work skills, and improve customer experience with more efficient and friendly services.

“This is in line with the goal of public service reform to create a more dynamic work system that can quickly respond to public needs.”

He mentioned that the position rotation plan covers all major departments, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Human Resources, and other departments that directly provide services to society.

Through this plan, counter staff will receive regular training and continuous supervision to ensure that service quality is always maintained at the best level.

Moreover, counter staff will be exposed to various aspects of counter duties, enabling them to handle various customer inquiries and transactions more effectively.

“The government is confident that by implementing the counter staff position rotation plan, the national public service system will be further strengthened, providing the public with a higher quality service experience.”
