(Silia, 3rd) In order to promote home-school cooperation, enhance parent-child relationships, and create a warm and harmonious campus atmosphere, Chung Cheng School Kindergarten held its annual Family Day event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, attracting enthusiastic participation from many parents and children. The event was filled with laughter and joy, with heartwarming moments of parent-child interaction everywhere, fully showcasing the educational philosophy of home and school working hand in hand to accompany children's growth.
The event kicked off with an energetic parent-child Zumba session, led by enthusiastic parents Ms. Wu Mi and Ms. Gelainavani as instructors. They guided parents and children to dance freely to the music, bringing a joyful start to Family Day and allowing everyone to embrace a series of wonderful activities in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Kindergarten Principal Ms. Foo Yong Li remarked in her opening speech that the family is the first school in a child’s life, and parents are the first teachers. A child's healthy development requires the companionship and joint education of both family and school. By organizing Family Day, not only do we hope parents and children share happy moments, but also, through diverse activities, we aim to strengthen parent-child interaction, promote home-school cooperation, and allow children to grow up healthy and cheerful in a loving and caring environment.
Many fun and competitive parent-child games followed, including the “Carrot String Relay,” “Dinosaur Big Eater,” and “Busy Cowboy.” Throughout these games, parents and children worked together, encouraged one another, and were fully engaged in each challenge. The venue was filled with cheers and laughter, while the children’s radiant smiles and parents’ warm companionship created many precious and unforgettable memories for Family Day.
This event’s success could not have been achieved without the strong support of kind-hearted community members. The organizers especially thank Mr. Cai Wenjie, Mr. Zou Weijie, and Ms. He Yunni for their generous sponsorship, which brought even more joy and excitement to the event. Special thanks also go to the two enthusiastic parents for taking time out of their busy schedules to serve as Zumba instructors, sharing the fun of exercise and injecting boundless energy into Family Day.
