This gathering was specially arranged by passionate philanthropist Wen Suhua, primarily to commend the World Chinese Delegation members who had just returned from cultural tourism and literary exchange activities in Pontianak and Sungai Durian, Indonesia. Sun De'an recently led writers and cultural figures to Indonesia for field studies and exchange activities. Through on-site inspections, literary forums, and cultural interactions, they further strengthened ties among overseas Chinese literary circles and contributed actively to the international promotion of Chinese language and culture.

She also extended special regards to Yang Zhensheng, Li Youmei, and Cai Sujiao, who had just concluded their trips, and expressed her respect for their long-term dedication to cultural and educational causes.
Meanwhile, Wen Suhua also specially invited Cai Gangming, Chairman and Principal of Pu Gong Bengulu, to attend the gathering, and on site handed over a check of ten thousand yuan, intended for the “Outstanding Principals and Teachers Appreciation Education Fund” for Pu Gong’s 80th anniversary celebration. She hoped this would encourage educators, promote the spirit of respecting teachers, and jointly advance the continuation and development of Chinese culture and Chinese language education. She stated that education is the most important foundation for cultural heritage, and that only by continuously “appreciating education” can more new generations with a sense of cultural mission be cultivated.
During the exchange, Sun De’an shared that in recent years, the World Chinese Writers Association has actively promoted the cultural concept of “reading ten thousand books and traveling ten thousand miles.” Through international exchanges and literary activities, more writers are enabled to gain in-depth understanding of the development of local Chinese communities and to strengthen friendship and cooperation among each other. He also thanked Wen Suhua for her long-standing enthusiasm for public welfare and cultural education, and for her practical support in developing Chinese language education.
