(Sibu, 10th) The Sibu Hainan Association held a solemn ceremony yesterday at noon on the rooftop Han Qiongyuan Garden of the association to celebrate the birthday of the Heavenly Empress (Mazu), imbued with a strong traditional cultural atmosphere.
Attendees at the worship ceremony included the association’s honorary advisor Wang Yaxing and spouse, administrative advisor Han Baoding, president Han Huangguang, vice presidents Han Jingguang and Huang Kaihong, as well as committee members, members, and their families.
The ceremony adhered to traditional rites. The organizers prepared sacrificial offerings including sheep, and at exactly 12 noon, a collective incense-offering and worship ceremony was held at Han Qiongyuan Garden, sincerely wishing the Heavenly Empress a happy birthday, and praying for favorable weather, national peace and prosperity, and the flourishing of association affairs.
In addition, the benevolent donors of the three sacrificial sheep for this event were the families of Han Baoding, Wang Dencai, and Chen Liwei, adding significance to the celebration and demonstrating support for traditional beliefs and cultural heritage.
