Former Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Rosmah, who faced 12 charges involving over RM7 million in money laundering and 5 charges of tax evasion, was acquitted by the High Court today.
Judge Muniyandy granted Rosmah's application to dismiss all charges, declaring her release in court.
The 73-year-old Rosmah filed the application to dismiss charges in September 2023, citing that the charges were flawed and that the prosecution had failed to present the necessary elements of the crime.
