(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) The Brunei Sultan’s government has awarded Long Service Medals (P.K.L) to civil servants with over 20 years of service, in recognition and appreciation of their dedicated contributions.
In addition to maintaining a good service record, this medal also serves to motivate awardees to continue serving the government and the country.
This long service medal is also awarded to celebrate the Sultan of Brunei’s 79th birthday, with a total of 244 officials and staff members from the Prime Minister’s Office and its subordinate departments receiving the medal in 2026.
The event was held at the Prime Minister’s Office, officiated by the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, Pehin Harbi, and accompanied by the Second Minister of Finance and Economy at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato Liu Guang Ming.
