(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) held its inaugural EnduROX Team Fitness Challenge for employees.
This event took place at the JPMC swimming pool. The activity also marked the official launch of "The One Fitness",
a brand-new platform that will serve as the umbrella for future fitness and wellness events organized for the centre's staff.
The Minister of Health, who is also JPMC Chairman and Executive Director, Dato Isham, attended the event as the guest of honour.
“The One Fitness” is part of the centre’s Employee Welfare Human Resource Management Services initiative, designed to create a new platform to promote healthier lifestyles among employees and to strengthen workplace connections between staff.
Under the "Physical and Mental Wellbeing" pillar, the theme of JPMC's first EnduROX challenge is "Moving Forward Together".
Through teamwork, collaboration, and friendly competition, this challenge aims to encourage staff to stay physically and mentally fit while also strengthening the bonds among JPMC staff, aligning with the national vision of "creating a high quality of life for the people".
A total of 120 employees, organized into 30 teams, registered for the EnduROX challenge. The challenge consisted of eight exercises that had to be completed within a set timeframe.
JPMC Chief Human Resources Officer, Salehin Basir, said: 'The One Fitness' demonstrates our commitment to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes employee welfare, relationships, and resilience.
Through activities like the EnduROX challenge, we hope to encourage staff to support one another, stay energized, and collectively embrace a healthier lifestyle.
At JPMC, our staff are not only caregivers—they are resilient individuals who, while undertaking the responsibility of caring for others, also exhibit tremendous strength, teamwork, and dedication.
