(Miri, 2nd) Miri Mayor and Pujut State Assemblyman Adam Yii handed over RM 92,000 in funds to 26 groups and organizations today at the Sarawak United People’s Party Pujut branch service center, to serve as funding for the activities of each unit.
During his speech, Adam Yii expressed gratitude to the delegates for attending to receive the funds provided by the GPS government. He hopes that the beneficiaries will make good use of this fund to provide more benefits for their members and community, creating a more harmonious society.
He stated that in 2024, a total of 412 organizations and societies in the Pujut constituency will benefit from the allocation, including 33 religious groups, 46 schools, and 333 non-profit organizations and associations.
Adam Yii thanked the community for their support and assistance to the Pujut branch service center and hopes to further strengthen cooperation in 2025 to enhance the welfare of the residents of the Pujut area.
