(Sibu, 11th) In order to raise students' awareness of environmental sanitation and vector control, the school held a seminar titled "Environmental Hygiene and Vector Control" on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 8:30 am in the multi-purpose hall.
This event was organized by the Ministry of Health with the full cooperation of the school. Around one hundred students from Grades 4 to 6 participated, along with all teachers from Grades 4 to 6, Principal Yan Ye, Vice Principal Fang Jingjing, and administrative officers.
The seminar focused on the importance of environmental cleanliness and how to effectively prevent mosquito breeding and the spread of diseases. The speaker explained in detail to the students the methods for maintaining hygiene both on campus and at home, and reminded them to develop good habits, such as not littering, regularly clearing standing water, and always paying attention to personal cleanliness, to jointly maintain a healthy living environment.
During the event, students listened attentively and actively participated in the Q&A session, creating a lively atmosphere. Through vivid and interesting explanations, students not only increased their knowledge about vector control but also further enhanced their environmental awareness.
This event also demonstrated the school’s commitment to students’ health education, hoping that students can put the knowledge learned into daily practice and work together to create a cleaner, safer, and healthier campus environment.
