(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th) Chairman Lee Yong Zhen of Brunei Teng Yun Temple led the board members in incense offering and worship.
This was also part of the festivities held in celebration of the Heavenly Mother’s Holy Birthday.
On the night of May 8th at 11pm, the temple respectfully invited the deities to descend, welcoming the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors to celebrate the Heavenly Mother’s Birthday.
At 5pm on May 9th, a ritual was held to reward the five regiments’ military generals and to make offerings (to wandering spirits and Lao Da Gong) to intangible beings.
Attendees included the temple's Deputy Chairman Cheng Yong Ming, Vice Chairman Cheng Yong Nian, Vice Chairman Fang Teng Zhong, and other board members.
