The K-pop sensation BTS has reunited for the first time since all members completed their military service. On the 1st, all seven members gathered for a live broadcast, announcing, “BTS is back,” and personally sharing news of a new album and a brand-new world tour.
BTS went live for about half an hour on the fan community platform Weverse, amassing over 7.3 million real-time views. Leader RM excitedly declared that starting July, they will officially reunite to focus fully on music production, aiming to release a new album in the spring of next year. He also teased that a world tour will kick off from next spring, visiting various countries around the globe, asking fans to look forward to it.
The album planned for release in spring 2026 will be their first new work in four years since the 2022 compilation album “Proof.” All members will successively head to the United States to record the new album. Jungkook said that this time, they will return to their roots and make a fresh start. Jimin added that they will work hard to prepare quickly and not keep fans waiting too long. Just being able to gather together again already makes him very happy, and they promised to continue interacting with fans through live broadcasts during the album production period.
