(Miri, 20th) The President of the Sarawak Chinese Association, Harry Lee Tian Song, stated that the development and progress of Sarawak cannot be achieved without the joint efforts of all ethnic groups. Chinese culture and the traditions of each ethnic group are common treasures of Sarawak. Through mutual respect and cooperation, not only do we bridge the gap between ethnic groups, but we also set an example of unity and mutual assistance for the younger generation.
He pointed out that the Chinese New Year is a festival full of joy, reunion, and hope, and is an excellent opportunity to enhance friendships and gather strength. On behalf of the Sarawak Chinese Association, he warmly welcomed all attendees
and wished everyone a year full of prosperity, success, and happiness.

Harry Lee emphasized that Sarawak is a model of harmonious coexistence of diverse cultures. Under the wise leadership of the government, people of all ethnic groups live in harmony, creating an inclusive, just, and hopeful society.
He expressed high respect to all who support Sarawak's unity and development and urged everyone to continue to promote the spirit of unity and cooperation to contribute to Sarawak's prosperity and development.
He particularly mentioned that this year's New Year Gala invited leaders from various ethnic associations to participate, which fully reflects the spirit of openness and inclusivity of the Sarawak Chinese Association and showcases the harmonious beauty of Sarawak's multiethnic celebration of the festival.
He stated that over the years, the Association has been committed to strengthening ties with all ethnic groups, deepening mutual understanding and friendship through organizing various activities. This spirit of cooperation has been recognized by all sectors of society and highly praised by the government.
Harry Lee called on all sectors to work together to build Sarawak into a more prosperous and harmonious home, allowing the flower of multiculturalism to bloom brilliantly here. He also wished for greater achievements by the Sarawak Chinese Association in the future, contributing more to the prosperity and social harmony of Sarawak.
