The world’s leading chip foundry TSMC has disclosed on its official website that 2nm technology chips have already begun mass production in the fourth quarter of 2025.
TSMC stated that its 2nm technology (N2) chips have commenced mass production as scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2025.
TSMC pointed out that this chip uses the most advanced semiconductor technology in terms of transistor density and energy efficiency.
TSMC indicated that the N2 technology adopts a leading nanosheet transistor architecture, offering improvements in performance and power consumption across the entire process node to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient computing.
TSMC said that N2 and its derivative technologies will, due to the company’s continuously strengthened strategy, further expand its technological lead.
