(Miri, 2nd) LAKU Management Sdn Bhd  (LAKU) will conduct a chlorine leak Mock drill on the 9th of this month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lambir Water Treatment Plant.

This exercise is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our personnel and facilities. The drill will simulate a chlorine gas leak scenario to test our emergency response protocols and enhance the effectiveness of our safety measures.

This training exercise will include the active participation of several external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and effective response simulation. Among the key agencies involved are the Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (BOMBA), Angkatan Pertahanan Awam (APM), and Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).

This training aims to ensure that everyone remains calm and composed if they hear sirens from the LAKU Emergency Siren, Fire Department, PDRM, or an ambulance during the exercise, as these signals indicate that the training is in progress and not an actual emergency. Your understanding and cooperation during this exercise are greatly appreciated.
