(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) The Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan recently held a successful quarterly blood donation drive, collecting a total of 105 pints of blood to provide valuable support for Brunei’s national healthcare system and help maintain a safe and stable blood supply.

This event, as one of the club’s signature community service projects, embodies Rotary International’s core spirit of “Service Above Self,” and directly responds to an important public health need within the country.

To expand publicity and mobilization efforts, Rotary club members actively carried out door-to-door leaflet distributions to attract mall visitors, youths, and people from all walks of life to enthusiastically participate. Volunteers noted that they gained a lot from engaging with the community up close, promoting blood donation awareness, and encouraging participation.

Event organizing committee chairman Mr. Bidiyut expressed sincere gratitude to all generous donors, stating that it was the enthusiastic participation from people across the community that brought about the event’s fruitful results. He also thanked Citis Square for providing the venue and sponsorship support, as well as HSKY Sdn Bhd and the Brunei RIPAS Hospital Blood Bank team for their professional guidance and assistance throughout the event.
