(Bandar Seri Begawan, 29th) Emergency water main repair work has been completed, and water supply in the Barakas water tank area is gradually being restored.
The Public Works Department (JKR) stated that the repair work was completed at 6:20 a.m. yesterday, enabling the water supply system to resume operation.
However, the Public Works Department reminds that as the system recovery is a phased process, it will take some time for the water supply to be fully stabilized. Residents in higher elevation areas may still experience low water pressure during the restoration period.
Households with installed water filtration systems are advised to flush their filtration system before using or drinking the tap water, just in case.
