Andy Lau's "Today… is the Day" concert tour in Hong Kong has concluded successfully. After the last show, Andy celebrated backstage with champagne, taking a few sips right away, feeling in high spirits. In an interview, he expressed his desire to keep performing endlessly and showed gratitude for the smooth run of the 72 concerts but mentioned that he prefers to meet his fans in a different way in the future.
Although his eyes were moist throughout the night, Andy felt like it was the audience performing for him, making it a joyful experience. "Initially, there was a lot of pressure, worrying about my physical condition every day, making me more sensitive, but the people around me gave me a lot of energy." Andy also mentioned that he tried to be as cautious as possible during each show to prevent the audience from worrying, removing risky actions from his performance of "Practice". He explained, "Sometimes accidents happen even when you're careful, so I made changes to avoid worrying the audience during their viewing." Andy said his wife is more worried, but when asked about his wife attending every night, and if he changed the actions due to pressure from her, he replied, "Having her there makes me better. (How many shows did she watch?) 72 shows!"
When asked about a proposal by a legislator to invite the four heavenly kings for a large-scale concert, Andy immediately said, "I want to, really want to, because we are performers from the same era, and being able to perform together would be a significant event."
