The wildfires in Los Angeles and surrounding areas of California have destroyed many communities, including the homes of Hollywood stars and celebrities. Oscar-winning director and actor Mel Gibson revealed that while he was out of town recording a show, his residence was destroyed by the Los Angeles wildfires. He criticized California Governor Newsom: "Our taxes are probably all spent on his hair gel."
According to a BBC report, Mel Gibson felt "uneasy" while heading to Texas to participate in a podcast recording because he knew his community was "engulfed in flames." He sorrowfully said, "This is truly heartbreaking and emotionally heavy."
He mentioned that his Malibu property was "completely burned down," lamenting, "It's shocking and saddening. You've lived there for a long time, you have everything, and now it's all turned to ashes."
He criticized California Governor Newsom's crisis handling and accused him of claiming "to be responsible for managing forests but did nothing."
He sarcastically said, "The people's taxes are probably all spent on his hair gel."
From the photos, it can be seen that before being burned by the wildfire, Mel Gibson's mansion was filled with a lot of wooden elements in its spatial arrangement.
After the devastation of the wildfire, Mel Gibson regretfully said, "I've never seen a house burned so completely, as if someone deliberately did it, truly destroying every aspect of it." He noted that apart from the chimney and a few roof tiles, nothing remained, and he dared not walk around as the ground was littered with nails and debris.
