Chinese actor Wang Xing, who went to Thailand to shoot a film on the 3rd, was once missing and was kidnapped to a fraudulent park in Myanmar. After being rescued, Wang Xing returned to China in the early morning of the 11th.

Previously, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand stated on the 10th that with the joint efforts of China and Thailand, Chinese citizen Wang had left Thailand and returned to China on the evening of the 10th local time.

The embassy in Thailand expressed that the Thai side attached great importance to this case triggered by online fraud, quickly launched a rescue operation, and effectively ensured the timely rescue of those involved. China expressed gratitude for this. The Chinese embassy and consulate in Thailand will continue to cooperate with the Thai government and relevant departments to safeguard the safety and legal rights of Chinese citizens in Thailand.

According to CCTV News, the flight carrying Wang Xing back to China arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at nearly 1 am on the 11th.

Wang Xing posted on Weibo after returning to China, thanking the Chinese government and others who helped him.

"I am Chinese citizen Wang Xing, at this moment, I have returned to the embrace of my motherland. This embrace makes me feel warm, secure, and free. In a foreign country, it was the strength of my motherland that gave me courage and hope."

"To every friend who helped me, to the netizens I have never met. I want to say, I am just a very ordinary person, who can be afraid, can worry... But at the moment when I was about to completely give up, it was you who gave me hope, who made me choose to believe a little more, to hold on a little longer, and helped me return to the motherland I love, and to the people who love me. I sincerely thank you!"

Wang Xing entered Thailand on January 3rd and later went missing at the Thai-Myanmar border. Thai police found him on the 7th and brought him back to Thailand. Thai police stated that after investigation, it was confirmed that he was a victim of human trafficking.
