(Bandar Seri Begawan, 26th) On the occasion of the upcoming 42nd National Day in 2026, Chung Cheng Middle School has recently collaborated among three different internal departments to meticulously prepare a colorful series of celebratory activities. Today, the school held a grand National Day Celebration Ceremony, where all teachers and students gathered together, expressing their boundless love and best wishes for the country through a solemn event and heartfelt enthusiasm.
The ceremony commenced in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. The first item was the national flag-raising ceremony. All teachers and students stood in attention to salute the flag, singing the national anthem 'Allah Peliharakan Sultan' with powerful voices as the stirring melody played. The resounding singing echoed throughout the campus, fully demonstrating the patriotism and youthful vigor of Chung Cheng Middle School’s staff and students.
Next, the ceremony entered the solemn pledge segment. Student representatives from the senior grades stepped onto the stage with heads held high and led all attendees in reading the pledge for Brunei Darussalam’s 42nd National Day. The pledge was resolute and powerful, expressing the new generation’s firm determination to inherit the nation’s will, uphold its honor, and contribute to its future development.
At the climax of the ceremony, a National Day short film specially produced by the school was shown on the large screen. The video vividly showcased the natural landscapes, construction achievements, and harmonious picture of ethnic unity in Brunei. Accompanied by popular patriotic songs, all teachers and students waved the Bruneian flag in their hands together, inspired by the singing. In an instant, the sports field was transformed into a sea of red and yellow flags, as cheers and singing interwove and the entire staff and student body were completely immersed in a strong patriotic atmosphere.
It is worth mentioning that the kindergarten children also participated enthusiastically in the celebrations under the careful guidance and organization of their teachers. Though still young, their enthusiasm was high; led by their teachers, they cheerfully shouted patriotic slogans in their tender voices. The children’s innocent smiles and sincere patriotic feelings added a warm and bright touch to the whole celebration.
