As the first event of Jianye District's "May Day Youth Consumption Season" in Nanjing, the 2026 Nanjing Burger Festival kicked off with excitement at Jinling Tiandi. Forty burger brands from all over the country gathered, blending gourmet food with youth culture pop-ups, to create an immersive experience integrating shopping, eating, and entertainment.

These mouthwatering burgers, whose names alone are tempting, made a collective debut at the plaza outside Gate 1 of Jinling Tiandi in Jianye District, Nanjing.
On the afternoon of April 24, the launch ceremony of the "2026 Shopping in China · Springtime in Nanjing" series and the "May Day Youth Consumption Season" was held in Jianye, Nanjing, officially opening the curtain on Nanjing’s spring-summer consumption wave. As the debut core event of the consumption season, the 2026 Nanjing Burger Festival opened with flair at this location from April 24 to May 5.
The founder of the Burger Festival, "Xiao Li," took the stage as a young entrepreneur, announcing the HOCH Burger Festival in a lively and cheerful manner, receiving waves of applause from the audience.
"A tiny IP can make people take high-speed trains or fly in just to have a taste—it’s even catching attention abroad: ‘China has a burger festival that started in Nanjing.’" At the launch ceremony, Burger Festival founder Xiao Li expressed such feelings. The Nanjing Burger Festival has become a nationally recognized consumer IP originating from Nanjing, and has been held multiple times in Jianye District. This culinary event, born in Jianye, has now become an "annual pilgrimage" in the hearts of many burger enthusiasts across the country.
