(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) The Brunei delegation participating in the 6th Borneo Games departed the country yesterday on a Royal Brunei Air Force C295 MW aircraft, heading to Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
This edition of the Borneo Games will be held from September 24th to 28th.
Brunei will participate in five sports at this year’s Games: aquatics, badminton, athletics, lawn bowls, and tug of war.
This year’s delegation is composed of 36 members, including 25 athletes, 5 coaches, and 6 officials. The delegation is led by head of delegation and Acting Director of the Department of Youth and Sports, Mohd Rofazilah. Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), Pengiran Mohd Hasnan, bid farewell to the delegation at the Air Force Centre.
