(Bandar Seri Begawan, 26th) The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Tuesday arrested three suspects allegedly involved in prostitution activities, including a 36-year-old local man and two foreign women aged 34 and 48.
According to the RBPF, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit raided a hotel room in the Gadong area.
This operation was carried out following public reports of alleged immoral activities.
The suspects, along with relevant evidence, have been brought to the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit office for further investigation.
The suspects are being investigated under Section 294A, Chapter 22 of the Penal Code for offences related to providing sexual services. If convicted, they face imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of up to BND5,000.
