Leadership Training by International Toastmasters on the 18th – Interested parties are welcome to register

(Kuching, 10th) The '2026/27 International Toastmasters Leadership Training Institute (TLI 1)' organized by District D of Area 87 of the International Toastmasters, will be held on the 18th of this month (Saturday) from 12:00pm to 5:30pm at the SUPP Headquarters.

 

The event will offer training courses in both English and Chinese, with a participation fee of RM15 per person.

 

All Toastmasters members as well as members of the public interested in leadership, communication, and personal growth are welcome to participate. Please refer to the event poster for complete details and scan the QR code to register.

The goal of TLI 1 is to provide the incoming club officers of Toastmasters with the necessary knowledge, practical skills, and leadership awareness to help them effectively fulfill their roles in the 2026/27 term.

 

The training also aims to strengthen cooperation among club leadership teams, enhance club quality and member experience, promote member growth, and deepen participants' understanding of the Toastmasters education system.

 

In addition to club officers, Toastmasters members and members of the public who wish to further understand leadership and the Toastmasters learning experience are also welcome to participate.

 

This training will be conducted by experienced Area 87 leaders and veteran Toastmasters (DTM) as lecturers. The courses include: "Building Successful Clubs Together" by District Director Mr. Chan Ho Ik; "Fostering Team Consensus" by Program Quality Director Ms. Zheng Jia Yu; "Driving Growth Potential" by Club Growth Director Miftah and District D Assistant Program Quality Director Ms. Lee Jing Jing; and "Unlocking the Learning Pathways Experience" by District D Director Mr. Liu Shan Liang.

 

Through these courses, participants will learn how to build successful clubs, strengthen leadership team collaboration, drive member growth, and gain a deeper understanding of Toastmasters learning pathways.

 

Area 87 provides support to Toastmasters clubs within its jurisdiction, while District D serves Toastmasters clubs in Kuching and surrounding areas through leadership development, educational support, club growth, and member engagement.

 

Guided by the annual theme of Area 87, "The Power of One," TLI 1 embodies how every leader can harness their individual power to jointly forge stronger teams, better clubs, and a more united Toastmasters community.
