A passenger plane of Jeju Air, South Korea, crashed on Sunday, and one of the rescued individuals is suspected to have amnesia.

According to South Korean media reports, the 33-year-old flight attendant surnamed Lee asked the doctors 'Why am I here?' when he was sent to the hospital.

Mr. Lee was responsible for serving the passengers at the back of the airplane. He suffered a fractured left shoulder and head injuries, and he was conscious. He remembered fastening his seatbelt before the aircraft landed, but claimed he thought the plane had already landed and couldn't remember anything after that.

A hospital staff member explained that this could be a situation close to panic or might be due to concerns about the safety of the plane and passengers.

Another rescued passenger is a woman in her 20s, currently receiving treatment at Mokpo Central Hospital.
