(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) The Royal Brunei Police Force Criminal Investigation Department’s Cyber Crime Investigation Unit, at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, recently hosted a national online scam crime briefing at the stadium lecture hall.
20 youths from the Y-Lite Youth Program of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports participated in the briefing. The aim of the briefing was to raise awareness among the attending youths about the growing trend of online scam crimes. Authorities reminded the public to remain vigilant and cautious at all times to avoid being deceived by suspicious messages from unknown individuals.
The police aim to provide the public with information on online scam crimes and work together to combat the spread of cybercrime in the country.
