(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Brunei Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce held the “Sailing under the Bright Moon: A Gathering for Taiwanese Businesspeople” Mid-Autumn Festival Gala on October 5, 2025. Mr. and Mrs. Hsiao Sheng-Chung from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Brunei were invited to attend, joining over a hundred Taiwanese businesspeople, expatriates, and their friends and families at the Royal Brunei Yacht Club to celebrate this warm and festive occasion together.
This year’s gala specially invited “Carcassonne Flute Ensemble” from Taiwan and the “Taiwan Coffee with Porcelain-painted Cups Promotion Group” to join the festivities. The Carcassonne Flute Ensemble performed appropriate songs such as “The Moon Represents My Heart” and “Moonlight in the City,” with their music accompanying the bright moon, allowing guests to bask in a musical feast and feel the Mid-Autumn atmosphere of reunion and togetherness.
Additionally, the representative office specially arranged for the promotion group to bring coffee from Chiayi and pineapple cakes from Taiwan as souvenirs, delighting the taste buds of many who missed the flavors of home.
