MUKAH: The Phase 1 Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) project at Kampung Tellian has now reached 79.05 per cent completion, placing it ahead of the scheduled implementation timeline.

“I would like to record my appreciation to the contractor for the good work commitment, as well as the continuous monitoring and supervision by the responsible implementing agencies,” he said after conducting a site visit to review the project’s current progress on Friday as reported by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).
Royston pointed out that the site visit demonstrated the ongoing commitment of the administration and implementing agencies to ensure that the village development project is carried out according to the specified requirements and delivers long-term benefits to local residents.
“The SPK project is expected to be fully completed on September 18 this year,” he said.
Earlier, Royston chaired a preparatory meeting for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tellian Tengah SPK (Phase 1), as well as the handover of land titles under Section 18 of the Sarawak Land Code and the gazettement of Bumiputera Communal Reserves for the Tellian constituency area at the Mukah Division Land and Survey Department.
