(Bandar Seri Begawan, 19th) The Royal Brunei Police Force's Criminal Investigation Department, Cybercrime Investigation Section (BSJS), continues to proactively carry out awareness campaigns on preventing cybercrime.

One such initiative is conducting briefing sessions for various government agencies, private organizations, and schools. Recently, BSJS held a briefing session on online scams at the Lykun International Hotel located in the Gadong Mall, attended by 60 neighborhood watch members including village heads as well as security personnel and employees from Gadong Mall businesses.

Another similar briefing took place on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, on Jalan Muara for 77 employees of VAM BRN Sdn Bhd. Both sessions were conducted by Inspector Adining from the Royal Brunei Police Force's Criminal Investigation Department.

Participants were informed and reminded not to share any personal information on any social media platforms, and to always remain vigilant in this increasingly complex and challenging digital era.
