Trump: This is Iran's Last Chance

Published at Aug 04, 2026 11:34 am
On the 3rd, U.S. President Trump told the media at the White House that the United States and Iran are having talks, and this is Iran's last chance to sign an agreement.

He said that the U.S.-Iran talks were held at Iran's request and were supported by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and many other countries.

He threatened that the U.S. military's large-scale strike plans against Iran still exist, but before taking decapitation actions, "I want to give them one last chance."

When asked about the progress of the negotiations, Trump said: "You'll find out today or tomorrow. No matter what the result is, things will move very quickly."

He pointed out that the first phase of negotiations is to open the Strait of Hormuz, and "as soon as tomorrow, it could be fully open"; the second phase is to discuss Iran's denuclearization issue, which will take some time.

In response to Iran's denial of a U.S.-Iran negotiation restart, Trump posted on social media earlier on the 3rd to refute this, insisting that talks have already resumed and threatening Iran to either reach an agreement or surrender completely.
