(Bandar Seri Begawan, 7th) The Strategic Communications Unit under the Prime Minister's Office Information Department, Kuala Belait Branch, continues to advance the 'National Briefing Program: The Significance of Our King, National Flag, and National Anthem' project, and recently visited Seria Chung Ching Middle School.
On the day, more than 60 students from Year 7 to Year 9 attended the briefing held at the school auditorium. Guests who attended the event included the principal, Mr. Jia Renyou, Acting Senior Information Officer Sitiatul Nur, and several teachers from the school.
The briefing, delivered by Mr. Khairul Hadi, Head of the Information Branch, covered an introduction to our monarch, the history and etiquette of the national flag, as well as the origin and meaning of the national anthem 'God Bless Our King'.
In addition, students watched an animated short film about flag-raising etiquette and participated in a 'National Knowledge Quiz' activity to deepen their understanding and memory of the briefing's content.
This program is one of the ongoing patriotic education projects implemented by the Information Department, aiming to cultivate students' love for the head of state, religion, ethnicity, and the nation, as well as to further strengthen unity, patriotic awareness, and national identity among the young generation.
