This year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and official commemorative activities are expected to be held. According to China's state broadcaster CCTV News, a concert related to the CCP's 105th anniversary was held in Beijing on Monday evening. CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping, along with Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, Han Zheng, and other leaders, watched the performance together with about 3,000 attendees.
According to CCTV News, the concert titled "People First" was held in Beijing, and in attendance were members of the CCP Central Political Bureau, Central Secretariat, Vice-Chairmen of the Central Military Commission, Vice Chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, State Councilors, President of the Supreme People's Court, Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and Vice Chairpersons of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The audience also included major officials from central Party, government, military, mass organizations, and Beijing government departments, leaders from the central committees of all democratic parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, representatives of non-affiliated individuals, recipients of honorary recognitions and commendations, veteran Party members and cadres, foreign experts working in China, grassroots CCP members and representatives from all sectors in the capital, and representatives of troops stationed in Beijing.
The CCP is expected to hold a "Celebration of the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party" on July 1. Xi Jinping will present the "July 1 Medal" to awardees and deliver a speech.
