On the 24th, Chinese singer Jane Zhang posted on social media, sharing a lengthy update about her recent situation, revealing that she’s been facing health issues and has started to reevaluate her lifestyle. She said that blood vessels often protrude on her forehead, but medical exams have not been able to find the cause: “When I don't get enough rest, or sometimes for reasons I don’t even understand, occasionally one or two veins on my forehead will bulge like this... I used to be nervous about it at first, but now I’m used to it. After all, the health checks haven’t shown anything wrong in this regard. Maybe it’s my old cervical spine problem, but for now, there’s nothing I can do about it.”
Aside from her forehead, Jane Zhang also shared a photo of her palm, joking at herself, “Who else bleeds from the palm just by stretching? I do. It’s nothing to brag about, but it’s a skill I’ve got.” Jane candidly admitted that she has always been burning herself out in the past, but now realizes she needs to make changes: “Burning up always requires fuel, and my fuel is my life. So, I’ve started to cherish my life more. Focusing my energy on things that are more worthwhile—that’s what I should be doing at my age.”
Jane further clarified that this long post is not an attempt to seek pity, but rather a wish to communicate with fans: “Though I’m really not used to explaining these things, it’s just that I don't want it to turn into a snowball of negative feelings that gets bigger and bigger. I’ve never been the type to cry for things because I don't even want to cry—I’ve got candy, so doing this is just going through the motions of ‘crying’.” She emphasized, “My intention has always been to let everyone see happiness, within my ability. But if the emotions turn towards unhappiness, then it’s really not worth it!”
