Najib's Facebook Sarcastically Asks What Time He'll Be Released? Netizens Flood Comments Urging Nga Kor Ming to Resign

(Johor, 12th) With UMNO's landslide victory in Johor, will former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib be released? Najib's official Facebook page posted a sarcastic remark: “About what time?”

Earlier, Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming stated in a media interview that if UMNO scored a big win, Najib's return home would indeed be on UMNO's agenda. If Najib were eventually released, Nga said he would be the first to resign from his post.

As the results of the Johor state election were announced, Najib's official Facebook page posted today, expressing faith that Pakatan Harapan (PH) would not deceive the people of Johor—namely, that since Barisan Nasional (BN) had a massive victory in Johor, Najib would be released.

“So, will Najib be released today? About what time?”

This post received 16,000 likes in just two hours, and together with other reactions, the total reached 20,000 likes.

Some netizens commented on the post, saying that perhaps Najib would be released once Nga Kor Ming resigns.

On the other hand, a large number of netizens also swarmed the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, leaving comments demanding Nga Kor Ming to resign, eventually forcing the ministry to close the comment section.

According to observations, some netizens directly posted resignation letter drafts in the comments section, some spammed the word “resign”, while others asked when Nga Kor Ming will resign.
