(Hefa, 12th) — A Form Five student in Hefa reportedly felt unwell after consuming a toxic substance on school grounds and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Police investigations so far have not found any criminal element.
Hefa Police District Chief Superintendent Chalan stated in a press release that a male Form Five student fell ill after allegedly consuming a toxic substance on campus last Friday (the 10th). He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.
He indicated that preliminary police investigation revealed no signs of any criminal activity in this incident, and further investigation is still ongoing.
He urged the public to respect the privacy of the victim and his family, to refrain from speculation or spreading unverified information regarding the incident, so as not to interfere with the police investigation.
