(Kuala Lumpur, 26th) — The United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority (UAEAA) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
According to a report by the UAE news agency, the memorandum of understanding aims to enhance anti-corruption cooperation, promote transparency and integrity, and advance joint actions to combat corruption.
The memorandum was signed at the headquarters of the UAE Accountability Authority in Abu Dhabi, as part of the official visit by the Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Tan Sri Azam Baki, who was received by UAEAA Chairman Humaid Obaid.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation, promote the exchange of professional experience, and support good governance frameworks in line with international anti-corruption best practices. This move highlights the commitment of both agencies to advancing international cooperation between the two countries in accountability, transparency, and anti-corruption.
