Wawasan Party Amends Constitution to Become Stronger, New National Consensus as Core Struggle

(Kuala Lumpur, 9th) Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah, Secretary-General of the National Wawasan Party, stated that the party has approved multiple amendments to its constitution to make the party stronger.

Saifuddin posted on social media that the Wawasan Party held a special meeting on Friday, during which the proposed amendments to the party constitution were approved.

He pointed out that the party's constitution comprises 29 articles and adopts the "New National Consensus" concept as the core of its struggle, dedicated to building a better Malaysia.

He said the three main pillars of the "New National Consensus" are shared goals, shared prosperity, and humane governance.

He added that the constitution will also build a pluralistic society that respects the Constitution and national principles; enhance the nation's economic strength and competitiveness within a free and open economic system; and establishing a government that advocates principles of humane governance as the party's pillars of struggle.

He added that other constitutional amendments include officially naming the party the National Wawasan Party and changing its registered address.
