Due to the impact of typhoon rainstorms, the basement level of Mambat Shopping Plaza in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, experienced a backflow of floodwater on Monday. The underground XPeng Motors showroom was inundated, with several display cars soaked in water and floating out of the store.
It is reported that the mall has temporarily closed to ensure customer safety. The reopening time will be adjusted according to weather conditions.
Local fire and rescue personnel have rushed to the scene to assist with drainage, and the extent of losses caused by the flooding is still being assessed.
