He said that out of the more than 1.2 million complaints submitted last year via WhatsApp, email, and the hotline, the majority came from village communities, with 91% satisfactorily resolved by the relevant government agencies.

The Minister pointed out that Darussalam 123 has played an important role in supporting the second objective of the 'Brunei Vision 2035' by providing people with a high quality of life.

He also outlined medium-term infrastructure development projects in towns and rural areas from 2022 to 2025, including: repairing water village bridges; upgrading roads prone to flooding or damage; renovating guesthouses and stalls to facilitate customers and tourists; and ongoing improvements to clean water supply and other basic utilities like electricity.

The Minister emphasized that close cooperation between communities and government agencies, coupled with convenient platforms such as Darussalam 123, showcases a responsive and people-centered mode of governance.
